Black Mountain UMC is seeking a passionate Director of Children’s Ministry to guide and inspire our youngest members. This is a part-time position with excellent pay, well-suited for a creative individual who loves working with children and supporting families in their spiritual journey.
Responsibilities include:
- Sunday morning children’s activities
- Vacation Bible School
- Special event planning (Easter egg hunt, blessing of the backpacks, etc.)
- Weekly staff meetings
- Coordination of volunteers and communication with families
Qualifications:
- Experience in ministry, education, or a related field
- Proficiency in curriculum design
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- A heart for children and families, with a commitment to fostering faith formation
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and parents
