Jesus teaches on two subjects more than anything else across the four Gospels. He spends the most time talking about the Kingdom of God, and in a very close second, he talks a lot about stewardship. How we use the resources we have is very important to Jesus. And while we often associate stewardship only with money, the Bible is also pretty clear that God is interested in more than just our finances. God wants us to be good stewards of every gift he gives us. 1 Peter 4:10 says it like this: “Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.” We are stewards of God’s grace, and we are called to serve one another with whatever gifts we have. So for the month of October, we’re going to talk about the abundance of gifts that God gives us and how we can be better stewards with each one of them. It’s a sermon series we’re calling Time: Talent: Treasure, and we hope you’ll join us Sunday mornings at 10:30.
