UWF Book Club

The Book Club will meet Saturday, February 18, at 10am at the home of Beverly Hill Miller, for a discussion of Fredrik Backman’s “Anxious People.” This author of “A Man Called Ove” has written another supposedly delightful romp on the surface that hints at intriguing questions on a deeper level. A bank robbery that goes wrong turns into a temporary hostage crisis which exposes a missing bank robber and someone who lies. As the book develops you will be asked to figure out who is in most need of our sympathy — the robber or the hostages? Let Margaret know if you plan to attend. We will meet at the church at 9:50am to carpool to Beverly’s home.
